The 1st form had the their rescheduled blitz on at Musgrave Park on 13th January and were delighted to take to the pitch for the first time. We had 5 matches on the day with every game lasting 10 minutes, our first match of the day was against Patrician Academy A from Mallow and lost the game narrowly 10-5 with them scoring the try the last play of the game. We played our second game against against Midleton CBS A and lost the game 15-5. Onto our 3rd game and with 3 games in a row with no break we needed to make a few subs and to keep them rolling, we played against Patrician Academy B and drew the game 20-20 which was great to see our attacking threat come out, our 4th game was against Midleton CBS B and lost the game 15-5. The final game of the day was against Colaiste Spioraid Naoimh and we were starting to get tried from the back to back games with us losing 15-5 again. I would like to thank the students for their first day out and we look forward to playing against Glenstal Abbey in a full match next week at home. The try scorers on the day were Hugh Cussen with 3 tries, Rory McEnery with 2 tries, Jacob Sheane with 1 try, Josh Dorgan with 1 try and Harry Robertson with 1 try.
