School Governance

sThere are three aspects to the school governance structures: the Board of Governors of the The Midleton Endowded School are the trustee body/patron and are responsible for the school ethos; a Board of Directors of Midleton College CLG are responsible for property, finance, and boarding and are the employer of non-teaching staff.  An elected Board of Management manage teaching and learning, and child protection, in the school.  They are accoiuntable to the Patron body and the Minister for Education.  All those on the Boards of the school do so in a voluntary capacity.
