Congratulations and well done to Honey, Brian and Luke (Form 2), Beppe (Form 3) and Benjamin (TY) who have all successfully qualified for the national preliminary round of the International German Olympiad (IDO).

The students were selected based on the strength of their application videos and will represent the school in the online national round, where they will take part in language tests and collaborative group work alongside students from other schools across Ireland. The winner of the Irish competition will go on to represent Ireland at the International German Olympiad in Mannheim.

This is a wonderful achievement and a testament to their dedication, language skills and enthusiasm for German. We wish them the very best of luck in the next stage of the competition – viel Erfolg!
