A big thank you to the Fitzsimmons family for welcoming our LCVP students to East Ferry Farm!
The students had a fantastic day completing a key part of their portfolio while learning about the running a successful family farm, caring for free range animals including Turkeys and Wagyu cows! Our students got appreciation for the challenges and rewards of modern farming. They also gained valuable insights from their classmate Bobby and his father Robert who explained the day to day running of the Farm. Thank you to Yvonne who informed us about the marketing and operations of the farm.
It was a great experience for everyone!
