Well done and congratulations to our Senior Cycle students Calum, Niamh, Andreja and Ciara, who represented Midleton College in the EU-wide translation competition Juvenes Translatores today. This year, our students translated a European-themed text from English to Irish, German to Irish, and English to Italian, showcasing their impressive linguistic talent and dedication.

Midleton College is one of just 14 Irish secondary schools selected to take part in this prestigious competition. Juvenes Translatores offers young people a unique opportunity to engage in a Europe-wide celebration of language and translation skills. The top winner from each participating country will travel to Brussels early next year to receive their award at the European Commission’s offices.
