Midleton College is delighted to announce that we have been awarded the prestigious LIFT Flag. This recognition marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to fostering leadership values within our school community.

This initiative has been passionately spearheaded by Mr. Brian Gill along with fellow teachers Ms Fiona Moylan,  Mr Mitch Mc Guckin and Ms Niamh Rossiter. Brian’s dedication has helped embed the LIFT (Leading Ireland’s Future Together) programme into the heart of our school culture.

To date, approximately half of our student body has been trained through this transformative programme, which focuses on key leadership themes such as respect, positive attitude, resilience, and more.

We are also proud to share that all of our LIFT leaders are now fully trained LIFT facilitators, enabling them to mentor and inspire others as we continue to grow a culture of strong, values-based leadership throughout Midleton College.
