The 1st yr B squad were convincing 5-2 winners in their cup game against Villiers School today. Paraic Cummins set the tone for the day with a well taken goal inside the first few minutes. Further goals in the first half came from Charlie Casey and Tom Aherne saw us 3-0 up at half-time.
The second half performance was built on some lovely interplay and saw us create a host of chances, with David O’Connor and Tom managing to convert two of them. Villiers did manage a couple of consolation goals of their own, but the result was never in doubt. We now await Newtown in the final!
