A massive well done to all the students who completed their Beach Lifeguard exam today at Garryvoe beach!

We had an early start at 7am to catch the high tide and every student performed exceptionally well. They are now officially qualified Beach lifeguards. 

The students have been practicing for several weeks in our school pool and they put the skills they learned to practice at the beach today, gaining a very valuable life skill. 

A big thank you to instructors Graham and Róisín, as well as Cork County Council, for providing this fantastic course. We look forward to seeing these newly qualified lifeguards patrolling our beaches very soon!
