The u14s had a great day out in Virgin Media Park today. It was the first time for many of the players playing a rugby match and to play on a pitch like this was a huge reward for the effort the team has already put in during training sessions. 16 players made up the squad and took on four other schools in a Munster rugby blitz showing great skills and passion throughout.

A big well done to John Murphy, the top try scorer of the day, Cillian Gorman, who showed great ability throughout the day for someone who was taking part in his first rugby games and the player of the day, Cathal Delaney, who never stopped trying his hardest.

A special thank you to Jack Parkinson for the amazing photography skills too. Well done to all the lads, the first of many rugby matches in the historic Midleton College Rugby colours.
