Road Safety Awareness Talk for Our LCVP Students

Road Safety Awareness Talk for Our LCVP Students

We were delighted to welcome Caroline Casey, Road Safety Officer with Cork County Council, who came to speak with our Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP) students about the dangers on our roads and how to stay safe. Caroline shared valuable insights into responsible road use, including discussions on e-scooters and the rules and safety considerations around them.
Our students gained a greater understanding of road safety and had the opportunity to engage with virtual reality headsets, which brought to life the impact of risky behaviour behind the wheel. This was a thought-provoking experience for our LCVP students.
