Successful Equestrian outing
Article Uploaded : 09/03/2022 20:36:26 by Midleton College

Yesterday, in the Maryville Equestrian Interschools Centre, Midleton College riders sat tall and high in the saddle, in the most successful outing to date. In the 60’s, Ava Huggard, astride Oscar finished second and Millie Bowles, astride Bay finished third.
In the 80’s, Tess Dwane O’Neill finished fourth, astride Minnie and Zara Richardson, finished sixth, astride Tasmine.   Paris Tierney, riding Punch, also achieved a clear round, for which, she was awarded a rosette.
Logan Harte was unfortunate to finish out of the rosettes, in the 80’s with just a single error.  Millie, also, in the 80’s was unfortunate to knock just the one fence. Caoimhe Tierney also narrowly missed out on the rosettes.
This was a tremendous achievement for our riders.  It was a hotly contested event- 50 riders competing in a hail storm.
Ride on - Tally ho.
