Today was the first day of Health, Fitness and Wellbeing week in school. The idea is to promote a healthy body and mind through physical activities, healthy eating and positive thinking.
Staff and pupils enjoyed activities such as rounders, yoga and both indoor and outdoor soccer today, as well as writing down something that they were thankful for and hanging it up on our ‘Wall of Gratitude’. They also had to work out a brain teaser wellbeing quote of the day from a famous author!
Finally, there was a guest speaker, nutritionist Paula Duggan, who spoke to staff and pupils about the importance of good nutrition and a well balanced diet. Well done to all who took part today and keep it going for the week now!
