Well done to Laura (Form 4) who WON the individual award in the Munster Senior Philosoph Debating Competition in UCC today. Laura spoke for 7 minutes proposing the motion that 'politicians should not use their religious beliefs as a platform while campaigning or to influence their decision making as an elected official'. Laura is the first Midleton College student in many years to reach the final and the first MC student to win the prestigious individual prize. Congratulations on yet another fantastic achievement!!!
