One of the more recent academic programmes initiated by the College has been English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).
This subject has been devised to assist the College’s foreign students with every aspect of the English language. The outlook of the programme is two-fold: Firstly, to help students’ understanding of the Leaving Certificate curriculum as well as interpreting exam questions and answering essay-type questions. Secondly, to facilitate students’ wishes to sit the Cambridge English exams in UCC.
This culminates in continuous exam practice in the various disciplines in the run-up to the exam.
