In the light of the Education Act 1998, Midleton College undertook a thorough review of its governance structures. There are three aspects to governance: the Board of Governors as trustee body/patron; a Board of Directors (responsible for property and finance), and an elected Board of Management (fulfilling the functions of that Board under the Act).
