Today, our group of 30 students left Salamanca at 8.00am to set off to Madrid for the day.
In Madrid accompanied by our two History teachers from Mester, we visited Plaza de España, where we saw the famous monument of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, the Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral and the Plaza Mayor.
Highlight of our visit to Madrid was undoubtedly for the students the audiovisual guided tour of the Real Madrid Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
Tomorrow, students start classes in the morning and in the afternoon , we visit the Cathedral in Salamanca, the Caves, Plaza Mayor and go on our Tapa Trail in the evening. It promises to be another action packed day!! (more pics in gallery)
