Dancing through the decades
A group of fifth year students from Midleton College organised an event last Saturday night (7th November) to help raise funds for the Syrian Refugee crisis.
Their event, Dancing through the Decades, which hosted music from the ‘60s, 70s, 80s and 90s saw attendees dressed in all sorts of costumes from the various decades. Held in the Vienna Wood Hotel.
Fergus Sheridan, one of the organisers, said ‘it was a great night, we even had a photo booth to keep people entertained, everyone had a laugh’.
There were prizes for best costumes, spot prizes, photo booth … as well as plenty of good music.
The group Fergus Sheridan, Adam Nuzum and Jonathan Tinne, ably helped by fellow class members Oisin Parsons and Owen McElrevy raised over E1,000 for Unicef.
