Some wonderful food created for the Apprentice Masterchef Qualifiers in the College today!
Paddy served 'Hake in Parma ham with nibbed almonds and asparagus in a spicy tomato sauce.'
Chelsea delivered 'Apple Cider pork chops with mash.'
Ciaran created 'Chicken stuffed with spinach and salmon mousse, served with a celeriac puree.'
Sarah cooked 'Chinese stir fried crispy pork with spicy sauce.'
Charlotte fashioned 'Monk fish with saffron sauce served with caramelised onions, pancetta and cabbage.'
Well done to all.
Charlotte Hall & Ciaran McGregor came out on top and progress to the inter-school competition. They will be mentored by Rory Graham, head chef in MC, and Ms Lawlor & Ms Davies from the HE department.
