Where are they now?
Our fist response is from down under-
My name is Samantha Kimber (nee Harper) and I started at Midleton College in 1988. I left midway through my 5th year as my family moved to South Africa at the end of 1992. I have good memories of my time there and often wonder where everyone is now.
I have been happily married for five years now and am living in Perth, Australia, with my husband and two daughters (21/2 and 4 months). After leaving Midleton in 1992, I finished school in Johannesburg and then went to Rhodes University in Grahamstown where I studied for four years. After graduating I moved from South Africa to London working as microbiologist for various major pharmaceutical companies. I married in 2002 and we then backpacked around the world for a year. We moved to Australia in 2004 and I now spend most of my time looking after our kids although I still work in microbiology part time for Pfizer here in Perth.
I have kept in touch with a few friends from Midleton but unfortunately lost touch with most – I’d love to hear from them again!
Kind regards,
Sam
