Interview With The New Gap Student

Interviewer: “Where are you from Claire ?”
Claire: “I’m from Derry.”
Interviewer: “Could you give us some information about your background please?”
Claire: “I have a sister who is in her second year of college , and a brother who just started first year in Derry.”
Interviewer: “What brought you to Midleton College?”
Claire:”I’m part of a programme called ‘Jump’ which is to do with the Church of Ireland. I’m down here working with the school and the church.
Interviewer: “What do you think of the place so far?”
Claire: “I really like it! The weather here is so much better than Derry, and everyone is so friendly!
Interviewer: “What will be the biggest change for you this year , do you think?”
Claire: “I think living in a school will be a big change and peoples accents are so different!”
Interviewer: “What are you hoping to gain out of this year?”
Claire: “To know what God’s plan is for me for the future.”
Interviewer: What are you hoping to do after this year?”
Claire: “Either to work for the church or do something that includes my degree, which is in environmental science.”
