On Saturday the 5th of September the JCT kickstarted their season
in great style.In their first match they came up against a well
organised CBC.It took a while for the first points to go on the board.
Bryan Moore made a fantastic interception and forced his way over
the line for the JCT’s first try of the season.This was then brilliantly
converted by Ned Hodson. Soon after Luke Deane stole in for a well
deserved try and again it was converted by Ned Hodson. Early in
the second half CBC got their first points after a well worked try. But
this was merely a consolation as about 5 minutes before the final
whistle Ned Hodson got another try under the posts, the last score
of the game.

On Saturday the 12th both the J.C.T team and the Senior team
played Bandon at home. The J.C.T team won 47-5 while the Senior
team were unlucky to lose.
The following Wednesday the Senior team battled with C.B.C and
unluckily were narrowly defeated.
