Orienteering
In early April a group of students from all years in the school headed for Colligan wood in Dungarvan, Waterford for the Munster schools orienteering championships.
It was a perfect day for orienteering with great running conditions. There were fantastic results from all of the competitors. The school won 6 individual and 2 team medals.
Groups of students also travelled to Curraghchase forest park for the Irish schools championships. There were plenty of good runs from competitors, winning some  team and individual medals. Well done to all who competed.
Also well done to Alex Simonin and Josh O’Sullivan-Hourihan who along with Nick Simonin took gold in Irish Championships relay in Donegal. This was a great achievement considering the strength of the competition and also the terrible weather conditions.
