Over the past month there have been many Hockey results. On the 11th of March the First year boys team had a Blitz against both Bandon and Newtown. The first years came out victorious in both matches by comfortable margins.
On the same day the Senior Boys travelled away to Ashton in the quarter final of the Cup. Unfortunately Ashton won, but the scoreline was made look much better with 2 late goals which gave them a 4-1 victory. Well done to the Seniors on getting this far and performing so well.
In girls hockey the U16’s won a well fought and exciting match against Cobh on the 18th The U16’s won by a scoreline of 3-0. Also well done to the senior girls in the Munster league final


Senior Girls League Victory
Midleton College Vs. Ursulines, Thurles.
On the 25th March the Senior girls faced their most important match of the season and last chance at silver ware. The Girls began the game at a frantic pace and could have been a goal up within 10 minutes. However they persisted and broke down a very resilient Ursulines defence scoring before half time. After the break with Ursulines pressing the girls got two more goals sealing a historic day and a great win. Well done to all the team on getting to the final and still having enough left to go on and win. Also well done to the goal scorers who were M.Callan, S.Baker and J.Coyne. The Victory was well deserved and hopefully it will happen again next year.
