Monday 12 May 2008
This years Geography trip took place from Saturday the 29th until the 2nd of March. Twenty-two students and four members of staff set off early Saturday morning and were set for a very busy 5 days ahead.

On arriving they got to work straight away, their first excursion was studies of the Polders and farm studies. The group then went on to do some town studies and more polders, they also visited a dutch cheese warehouse.

Day two saw the group visit a Catholic church, the Delta Expo and more farm studies . Monday was a long day out with a trip to the bulb region, farm studies and town function studies which were carried out along the way, also a trip to a pottery in Delft. Day four gave the group a taste of the constant activity along the waterfront of Rotterdam, they also experienced the Euromast Space tower and the smallest town in the world.

Wednesday saw the last day of the 5th form trip but the work was not over, the took a canal boat trip in Amsterdam and had a guided tour of the Ajax Football Stadium. After talking to some of 5th form it was all in all a very worthwhile trip and we would like to thank Mr.Morrissey, Mr.Cashman, Mrs.Levis and Mr.Leopold for going with the group this year.
