The senior chess team played two matches in March.On the 8th they were at home to Michelstown C.B.S which they won 3-1. On the 12th they were away to Deerpark where they drew 2-2. This put them into the final of the Cork schools league. The team is C.Ross (capt), B. Cunnigham, S. O Regan, E. Simonin, B. McCarthy(sub).

The girls have qualified for the national championships by coming second in the local league finals.  Emily Simonin (Capt.), Tara Roberts, Sarah O'Shea and Adianna Linder drew with the Ersulines and then beat Regina Mundi B before losing the decider to Regina Mundi A.  Well done and good luck in Limerick for the nationals.
