The senior boys' rugby team have won the Mungret Cup for the third time. They triumphed over Newtown school 10-6 in a last gasp victory over very worthy opponents. Congratulations to all the team, led so ably by Niall Wilcox, the coaching staff of Mr. Preston, Mr. McGuckin, Mr. McCarthy and the travelling support who willed the team to victory in such impressive numbers.
The Senior Hockey 1st XI have reached the final of the Munster B Cup with a well fought victory over St. Angela's who had beat them in a league match in the same week. The girls ran out 2-1 after going behind at the beginning of the first half. Well done to the whole team.
