The project from our two first year pupils gained two prizes at this years BT Young Scientist Competition at the RDS in Dublin.  The title of the project was "Fantastic Plastic-But does it have a future?".  With most of the 1st year students traveling up to lend their support and see all the other exhibits the two project workers saw a lot of hard work rewarded with 3rd place in their section (Junior Social and Behavioral Sciences) and a special prize from the European Recycling Platform that was open to all age groups and so was a very large category.  They won €150 each and a large Waterford Crystal Trophy.  Well done to students and parents.  A special thanks to Ms Curtin Mr. O'Neill and Ms Hassey for their assistance.
