 On Wednesday the 12th of December the annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols was held at St. John the Baptist church in Midleton. It  commenced with Jessica Knoblauch who sang the first verse of the first song brilliantly. The Festival Choir, 4th Year Choir and 1st Year Choir all sang at different points during the service, there were 9 readers, 6 of whom were pupils from 1st year to 6th year. The orchestra also took part and did a wonderful job. The church was beautifully decorated by Ms Mackillop and Mrs. Ottman. There were refreshments for the parents at the church hall afterwards and also for the choirs and orchestra in the school library. There was a collection for the Cheshire Home after the carol service and they raised €1,000. Well done to every one who helped and took part.
