Pupils from all the senior cycle have been given the chance to see science outside the school due to an amazing program of events from CIT.  The 4th Years paid the Colleges first ever visit to the Blackrock Observatory.  Located in the old Blackrock Castle it was a revalation in technology.  The touch screens and the games impressed and educated at the same time.  All will have to go back to get through even half of the material.
The 5th years are off to the Naval base for a general science exhibition with talks and experiments to suit all the branches of science.  Finally the 6th went on Wenesday night to a lecture on Atomic Structure that should help them to tackle the topic in their forthcoming mocks.
