Senior Hockey Victory
Thursday 18 October 2007
In what turned out to be a very impressive win over a well organised Regina Mundi side the Senior Girls Hockey team with Mr. Seale coaching took on and beat one of their closest rivals in the 'B' league. The match held at Garryduff pitch in Cork City got off to a poor start for the College when they concided an early goal. However the girls did not let there heads fall and were soon back on level terms. Pulling away before half time and amassing an impressive final total.
The victory seemed to owe most to good organisation and execution of tatics by the girls. The very nimble Jess Ottman scored five of the goals and Sarah Oppermann adding the other.
