The traditional end to the school year is the school sports day. Less of an athletic event more a fun-in-the-sun thing. Parents and pupils compete in a series of almost Olympic Disciplines such as throwing the cricket ball and the sac race. Thrills and spills are promised on the school cricket pitch.
This year as usual we kicked off with the single wicket where individual players compete with each other in an all round bowling and batting competition. The winner of the senior boys was Adam Douglas and of the intermediate boys was the cunning batting of Josh O'Sullivan Hourihan.
Next is the throwing the cricket ball as pictured. One for the pupils with the whippet like arms. Not the one for the old and slow to be judging. The ball goes many a mile. This year our winners were:-

Ned Hudson
