The estate of the late Mr. Jack Eastaway has donated a large number of books to the school library. A keen reader Mr. Eastaway was born in Sydney Australia and came to work in the UK. His grandson Tom left the school last year to go to study and work. His two sons ( Including Geoff Eastaway who kindly runs the Astronomy Club ) while clearing his belongings wished to keep all his books together. The picture shows the pupils and Librarian (Ms. Stead) and the Headmaster receiving the books from Geoff Eastaway.
