This year the Hockey tour was based in Altringham near Manchester.  The First Game was against Manchester Girls High School A and B teams with mixed results.  We were welcomed at all locations but the facilities here were out of this world.  The main attraction was the heated changing rooms. 
The next day playing Loreto Girls Club we won 5-1 and then went shopping in the Trafford Centre (One of the biggest shopping centres in Europe)   Mr. Seale definitely found 19 girls and shops a bad combination.  Poor man.  After this hard working break we were given our opportunity to exhibit extra sporting skills.  We went 10-pin bowling.  This led to the only injury on tour.  One of the girls got her finger caught in the ball.  A great time was had by all (Well almost all).
The next day we played Stockport a very arresting journey.  The A team won 5-0 and B team lost 2-1.  The great thing  was everybody got a game.  A fine end to the year.  Thanks to all the staff who came with us and congrats to all the girls.
