After a year or so of inactivity the Astronomy club returns thanks to the father of a former parent, Geoff Eastaway.
Mr. Eastaway assisted by Mr. Neil Bronks has started to recapture the interest of the pupils of the school for all things heavenly.
We already had a large reflecting telescope housed in it's own rolling housing at the back of the school but thanks to his enthusiasm and the coordination of Brian O'Rouke on behalf of the boarders this old beauty is being pressed back into service.
On cloudy nights the group will meet in the computer room to access large telescopes around the world.
