Open Day

Open Day 2009/2010

Open Day took place on Saturday 19th September, 2009.

The visitors were given a guided tour of the school by various volunteers from the student body. Meanwhile members of staff manned their stations in the different parts of the school ready to answer any and all questions about aspects of College life.

People began in the Library before touring the Science labs, Computer Room, Art Room and other subject rooms to view the items on display.

The tour then moved to typical dormitory accommodation and out to the sporting facilities where practice matches had been arranged.

The visit finished with a reception, musical interlude and a speech from the Headmaster in the Dining Hall. It was a successful day and more people expressed interest in enrolling their offspring for Midleton College.
